"Access Identity" provides secure authentication services to Access applications. This Privacy Statement informs you of our privacy practices, the way your information is collected online, and how that information is used.


Your information

When using "Access Identity" you will be required to provide the following information:

  • your email address - This is required to enable you to create an account and sign in to Access software using this service;
  • your password - This is required to secure your account - this is stored in a secure hashed format that makes it impossible for anyone to read it;
  • your mobile phone number - This can (optionally) be used to provide you with two-factor authentication (an extra layer of security) by requiring a code that is sent to your phone via text message to be entered during the sign in process.


How we use your data

Our lawful basis for processing your data is "Contractual" and it will be processed in accordance with the Principles and Rights mandated by GDPR.

In relation to the information described above, it will be used:

  • as part of the sign in/authentication process;
  • to facilitate the integration with Access applications where the data is held either by Access or by the Customer themselves;
  • to send email or SMS notifications about security related events;
  • to remind you when your password is about to expire or has expired recently;
  • in dealing with and responding to you about a comment or complaint;
  • when diagnosing and dealing with problems;
  • when carrying out anonymized statistical, technical and logistical analysis.

Access will not use your personal data for any other reason. Access will not share your data with any Third Party.

Your data is stored securely in the UK and will not be transferred out of the EEA.
